There’s a small beach area here, but it’s not much of a beach to lay out on. It is known as a good snorkeling spot though! Being a one-minute drive from the church, you could also park at Makena Landing and go for a 5 minute walk to the church too.

 

 

2. Maluaka Beach

About a 1-2 minute drive

 

This is also known as turtle town, and it’s a spot that known as a snorkeling spot and being able to swim with turtles! This is a beach you can hang out at.

 

 

3. Oneuli Beach

About a 3-4 minute drive

 

This is known as the black sand beach in this part of Maui. Although it’s not as black as some of the other black sand beaches on Maui (like the famous black sand beach on Maui), if you won’t be getting around to the other ones, then you might like this beach.

You also might like this beach if you’re looking for a quieter area.

This is a beach you can lay out on, and there tend to be not as many people around here.

 

 

4. Makena Beach

About a 5 minute drive

 

Makena Beach is a large expansive beach that can be good for hanging out at.

About a 6 minute drive

 

If you’re looking for a smaller beach, then Makena Cove might be for you!
