Yes, there is a “bathhouse” of sorts at the Fort Wilderness campground!

So you can take a shower when you are staying at the Fort Wilderness campground whether you are tent camping or RV camping.

Where to take a shower at Fort Wilderness

A Fort Wilderness comfort station is basically the bathroom and showers! (And there are a few other things, like laundry and ice.)

 

 

There are many comfort stations located throughout the Fort Wilderness campground.

So no campsite is too far from a comfort station, and this means that you will never be too far from a shower room when you’re camping at Disney World!

So when it’s time to take a shower, you will go to the comfort station.

 

 

The showers are located through the same door you will take to get to the bathroom.

There’s the women’s bathroom on one side of the building, and the men’s bathroom is on the other side.

So you can just walk right in to the bathhouse / shower room / bathroom.

 

 

Or if it’s locked, then you will use your key card to get into the bathroom. (You will get a key card when you check in for your Fort Wilderness campsite.)

 

 

So you can take a shower any time of day or any time at night.

And then once you walk in, you will first see the toilets.

 

 

You will walk further back to get to the shower area.

 

 

And then you will see the shower stalls.

 

 

The showers at the Fort Wilderness campground are basic showers.

You bring your own everything.

There are no towels provided. There is no shampoo provided. There is no soap provided. etc etc!

All you get is an empty private stall and a hot water shower! (Yes it was hot enough for me!)

I would recommend wearing sandals or flip flops while you take a shower.

Maybe buy a $10-20 pair at Walmart or something if you don’t have a pair that you’re okay with getting wet like that.

 

 

Is there a cost to take a shower at Fort Wilderness?

It is FREE to take a shower at the Fort Wilderness campground.
