Hi there!
What to do as you’re driving I-90 west in South Dakota?!

Look for the Wall Drug billboard signs!
Yes really.
There are TONS of them!

Some estimates say there are over 200!
All of these Wall Drug signs aren’t only on I-90, but in any case, there are truly tons of Wall Drug billboard signs to see when you are driving I-90 west in South Dakota.
Wall Drug is the “Wall Drug Store” located in the town of Wall SD.
Wall SD is located near Badlands National Park.
You’re not sure whether or not you care about Wall Drug?!
Well, I sure didn’t care about stopping at Wall Drug.
Not at first anyway.
But then…
I started driving on I-90 west, entering South Dakota from Minnesota.

And then everything changed.
Okay so maybe it’s not that dramatic. 😆
But my interest in Wall Drug did start to change after driving on I-90 west for about 150 miles.
It was a bit after the the Lewis and Clark Welcome Center + Lakota statue rest area that it changed.

By this point I had seen SO many Wall Drug billboards, that I finally started to be like… okay really, what is with this Wall Drug?!
And I started to take pictures of Wall Drug signs!
What is Wall Drug known for?
Wall Drug is best known for free water and 5 cent coffee.
Another one of the best things that Wall Drug is known for is the crazy amount of Wall Drug signs that you will see as you are driving along I-90!
Below will take you through the journey of Wall Drug! aka seeing the Wall Drug billboard signs driving along I-90 west in South Dakota!
