Stopping at the Florida Welcome Center for orange juice
It’s easy to get free orange juice when you’re driving from Georgia to Florida along I-95 south!
I would assume this is basically how it will go no matter which interstate you drive into Florida.
I drove into Florida from Georgia on I-95, so this is the I-95 Florida Welcome Center.
This is the welcome center you’d be stopping off at if you’re driving from Savannah GA to Florida for example.
There was a time in 2019 and 2020 that the State of Florida stopped giving out orange juice at the Florida Welcome Center.
But then it seems around summer 2020, they started giving out orange juice again.
I visited the Florida Welcome Center in November 2021, and I can report that there was free orange juice!
So, once you cross into Florida, you will start paying attention to the signs.
You are just looking for the sign for the State of Florida Welcome Center.
Then you will get off and drive into the rest area.
It’s a rather big parking lot.
You can get a picture with the Florida welcome sign that is off to the right of the building as you are facing the visitor center.
Then, head on in to the visitor center to get drink your first cup of orange juice in Florida!
You can even sit and relax on a couch to sip your Florida orange juice.

As a rest area along the interstate, of course you will find a bathroom.
At this Florida visitor center, you can get tourist information for all over Florida.
You can buy a Florida SunPass at the I-95 Florida Welcome Center.
If you’ve been doing your research and you know you’ll be driving on Florida toll roads throughout the rest of your Florida road trip, then you might want to get the Florida Sun Pass.
This makes paying the toll fees easy. If you have time before your Florida trip, then you can also buy the Florida SunPass online and have it mailed to you.
Otherwise, you can also get the Florida SunPass at the I-95 Florida Welcome Center. There’s the regular Florida SunPass that will cover you for the tollways in Florida only. And then there’s also the Florida SunPass Pro that will cover you for the Florida tollways along with toll roads in a bunch of other states.
And then after you’ve finished drinking your orange juice, you can get back on the road to Jacksonville and beyond!
