Princess Theater is the name of the main theater on Princess cruise ships.
The Princess Theater is where the production shows take place.
If you have a Princess premier cruise package, then you get the best seats reserved for you for the production shows in the theater.
You don’t need to do anything extra.
You will just show up and look for the reserved seating section, which is the blue seats!
For everyone else, there is no way to get reserved seats.

Almost every night, there is some sort of show in the Princess Theater.
The theater shows on Princess cruise ships tend to be at 7:30pm and 9:30pm.
On any given day, both timings are the same shows, so it won’t do you any good to go to both.
You can know what show is going on tonight by checking the daily activity schedule that will be delivered to your stateroom every day, or by checking the journeyview of the Princess app when you are on the cruise ship.
You don’t make reservations to attend any of the shows in the Princess Theater.
You just show up and pick an open seat.
One of the best types of shows to attend in the theater are the production shows.
These are the shows with singers and dancers.
While it’s not possible to make seat reservations for production shows, there are seats reserved for you… if you have a Princess Premier package.
There will be a section of seats that are reserved for Princess premier.
👆 Princess premier package includes “reserved theater seating” for production shows in the theater. Does this mean that you can reserve seats yourself? No, it just means that seats will automatically be reserved for you if you have a Princess premier package.
So unless you have a Princess Premier package, you are not allowed to sit in the seats that are marked as reserved… until 5 minutes before the show begins.
Once it’s 5 minutes before show time, then there will be an announcement saying that anyone can sit in the reserved seating section of the theater.
So if you’re a latecomer without a Princess premier package, know that you can sit there if you see open seats!
Where are the reserved seats for the production shows in the theater?
The reserved seats for people with Princess Premier are pretty good.
They are at the front part of the upper level, right in the middle.
So you have a good view of the stage!
