Although naturally, the earlier you make your reservations, the more choices you can expect for the time you want and the dining room you want.

If you’re making dining reservations far in advance, you’ll want to check back once it gets closer to your cruise (and once you are on your cruise) to see that your dining time hasn’t changed.
Reports indicate that sometimes they will change it on you, and you won’t be notified about the change.

How to make main dining room dinner reservations for your Princess cruise
In short, here is how to make dining room reservations:
- Open up the Princess app
- Look for “OceanNow – Food, Drinks & Shopping”
- Look for “Dine My Way”!
- Make your reservation for the same time each day OR choose the days you want to eat in a dining room!
👆 To make dining reservations on a Princess cruise ship dining room, you will look for “dine my way” on the app.
👆 Next screen: You can make main dining room dinner reservations for the same time in the same dining room every day… if a time slot is available at the same time every day! The “order for delivery” will be available once you are on the cruise ship.
👆 If you want to “reserve for the same time each day,” next you will select “evening” to move on to the next screen.
👆 If you want to “book individual daily reservations,” next you will select the day you want to make dinner reservations, and then “add reservation.”
👆 You can make dinner reservations for the main dining room (free food) and a specialty dining restaurant ($)
👆 Next screen: Available times will show up.
👆 You can select the time that you want to make a dinner reservation for. Typically, you can make dining room reservations between 5pm and 9pm. The earliest reservation you can make is usually 5:00pm, and the latest reservation you can make is 8:40pm… unless these time slots are taken!
