Is May too early for a cruise to Skagway?!
In short, NO!
I went to Skagway in May and below is what is what it like for me!
Well, this is just 2 days in Skagway out of 31 days in May. 😆
But those 2 days in Skagway in May had good enough weather to have a perfect time!
On one of the days it was a little cloudy and overcast, but it wasn’t anything that affected my time in Skagway at all.
The other day in Skagway was sunny!
That said, anything goes in Alaska!
And that includes Skagway in May!
As “they” say, weather can change quickly in Alaska!

I went to Skagway in May, and I had a perfect time doing the White Pass Railway train, Klondike Highway, helicopter tour with glacier walk, dog sledding, and the Yakutania Point hike!

- Glacier Discovery by Helicopter with Temsco Helicopters (Princess shore excursion)
Skagway on May 17
My plan for Skagway cruise port:
- Yakutania point hike on my own
- Skagway dog sledding on a glacier + helicopter tour with Temsco Helicopters (Princess excursion)
