The Cades Cove Campground does sell firewood at the campground store, among other basic camping supplies.

Cades Cove does have a gift shop, and this is basically the campground store.

 

 

So the the Cades Cove Campground is among the popular campgrounds in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 

And there’s what’s called a “campground store” near the campground.

This is one of the campground stores in the Smoky Mountains.

 

 

Although it gets foot traffic not just from campers, but also from Cades Cove day trippers. 

This is located near the start of the popular Smoky Mountains scenic drive in Cades Cove that is the Cades Cove Loop Road (where you can find THE famous Cades Cove waterfalls).

This road is also a popular biking loop, and the campground store is located right next to the Cades Cove bike rental store.

So the Cades Cove campground store is also a good spot to load up on some quick snacks before a bike ride (or drive… or walk!), or to fill up afterwards if you find you didn’t bring enough energy with you as you make your way around the loop!

 

 

The campground store also makes for a souvenir shop too.

You’ll see the campground store right after the campground office (park ranger station) where there’s check-in for campers, and there’s a pretty big parking lot.

You’ll find bathrooms around here too.

The store hours are listed as 9am to 5pm.

 

 

Firewood and ice

Because of invasive species that could come with wood brought from elsewhere, it’s always best to buy your firewood locally.

 

Cost of firewood is around $9.
Cost of ice is around $4.
